Frank Matthew and Soa Bert with load of alfalfa seed. The mule was named Bill, and died in 1937. Bill was used to break in new team horses. The picture was taken in front of the Old First National Bank, before Broadway was paved, in 1920. The building was torn down to make room for a new bank.
