Hot enough to fry an egg?
Collection: Max Moxley Photographs
Title
Hot enough to fry an egg?
Description
"Some 25 years ago or so, the late Jim Wilson, part-time photographer for The Bulletin, came into the office to report that Smitty the Barber was frying an egg on the sidewalk. This is what we found when we got there with our camera. It looked authentic enough, however years later Jim confessed that we have been set up. The egg had been pre-fried at one of the cafes. It still made a good picture."
Written by Max Moxley for his "Images of the Past" column for the "Sterling Bulletin."
